We are a guided Whitewater Rafting company with trips on the Big Pigeon River in Eastern Tennessee bordering the Smoky Mountains National Park. We raft near Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville areas in Tennessee, and Asheville, Cherokee, and Maggie Valley areas in North Carolina. Many guides have turned a summer job on the river into a lifelong career, traveling to every part of the world, while others have taken the skills they learn on the river to help them excel in whatever they pursue later in life. There is something special about being a river guide that gives you a boost of confidence while at the same time making you humble in the beauty and power of the water.
We have a very diverse staff of 25-30 guides in the summer months. The senior guides have typically 10+ years of service and are your mentors during your training and rookie year.

If you love the outdoors The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is only minutes away with 850 miles of hiking trails. There are more Class III+ rivers within 2 hours of our location than anywhere else in the world. Many off days will find the staff on another local river. There is never a shortage of things to do, trails to hike, or rivers to run.
Our Raft Guide School is designed to be affordable, with full-time guide positions offered to those who excel and pass the course. When you register for guide school, you can apply the code “GUIDE” at checkout to save $100 to allow you to purchase the few pieces of equipment you will need to complete training.
