Raft through notable Class III rapids known as Power House, Too Late, Vegematic, Razor Blade and After Shave (just to name a few of the 12 rapids on the river.)
You’ll also take on some Class IV rapids known as Lost Guide, Double Reactionary, and Accelerator.

Looking for a calmer time on the Pigeon River?
If you or someone in your group are interested in a more relaxing jaunt on the river, we also offer a guided float trip on the Lower Section of the Pigeon River. We schedule our rafting trips and floating trips at the same time and drop off all groups at the same place, with Upper River groups returning to the outpost about 15 minutes before Lower River groups.
Upper Pigeon River Seasonal Schedules
The water flow on the Pigeon River is controlled by a dam a few miles upstream of our launch area. During the summer months (Mid-May through Mid-September) The water releases The big class 3 and 4 flows on a schedule every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with trips starting at 11:00am and going every hour until 5:00pm.
Spring and Fall Schedule
Spring and Fall rafting provides the opportunity to experience the river at a variety of water levels, the class rapids can be between a calm class 2 float to a thrilling class 4 trip. The levels change daily and we typically have trips departing 7 days a week.
