TRIP ITINERARY & INFO
Drive to our beautiful location in Hartford, TN, just .25 miles from I-40 on the Pigeon River. After parking, you and your group will check-in at the main office. Safety waivers will be filled out for each and every member of your party — both children and adults. To speed up the process you can print and complete your safety waiver form and have it ready when you arrive.
Before your trip, you'll have an opportunity to change into your rafting clothes at our facility. Be sure to bring the proper footwear and a change of dry clothes. We sell river shoes in the gift shop if you need to purchase a pair.
A PFD (Personal Floation Device), a helmet, and a paddle — we'll get you suited up and ready to go.
Note: we're very proud of our high-quality rafting equipment and ask that all of our guests help take care of them.
You will all then listen and participate in our trip talk that covers all the “how-to’s” while you’re on the water. We make the talk entertaining, but it covers serious material that you will be required to know for your white water rafting experience.
All aboard the magic bus!
We're located just a short, 6-mile drive from the Pigeon River's launch point. Our guides will keep the ride fun and entertaining. Trust us.
Once your guides get you situated in the boats, it's go-time, baby. If you're on the Upper Pigeon River, you'll raft through exciting Class III and IV rapids. For those of you on the Lower Pigeon River you'll enjoy a fun, relaxing float trip. Plenty of splashing, swimming and fun for the whole family.
After a thrilling, 2-hour rafting trip, you'll end up at our outpost where your vehicle is waiting with nice, dry clothes. Change and then don’t forget to come in and see YOUR PHOTOS that were taken on the rafting trip! You will have the digital images with rights to reproduce. We also have great t-shirts, hats, and other souvenirs available for purchase.
What to Wear on Your White Water Rafting Trip
Our needs will vary based on the weather, but you should always be prepared to get wet! We require secure footwear such as tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals with a secure heel strap. Note: wetsuit rentals are available!
Safety is Our #1 Priority
Rafting Safety Measures
- We will provide you with a personal flotation device (PFD), helmet and paddle. You must provide proper footwear, which includes tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals with a secure heel strap.
- No drugs or alcoholic beverages are permitted. If we suspect you have consumed anything that will impair you before your trip, you will not be able to participate and will not get a refund.
- A trip talk is given by the guides before the trip to explain to you the "what is" scenarios and the "how to's" to react. This is a necessary part of your day and you must listen and attend this talk.
IMPORTANT: A safety waiver must be signed by each participant looking to enjoy a rafting trip with us — both minors and adults. Please download, complete and bring one safety waiver form for each member of your party prior to your visit.
