Safety is our Raft Outdoor Adventure’s number one priority!

April 6, 2017

If you’re new to white water rafting, you might be concerned about your or your family’s safety. It’s important to know that we designed our trips to be as safe and family-oriented as possible.

Each rafting guide is certified in First Aid and CPR (with some guides even having additional certifications). They’ve all gone through extensive training and make every attempt to keep your trip both enjoyable AND safe.

Here are just a few safety measures we take here at Raft Outdoor Adventures:

✓ Before every trip, the guides give a comprehensive “trip talk” to all of our guests. They go over the basics of white water rafting, explaining every “what if this happens” scenario you could possibly think of.

✓ We’ll provide you with a personal flotation device (PFD), helmet and paddle. You must wear proper footwear (tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals with a secure heel strap).

✓ Absolutely no drugs or alcoholic beverages are permitted. If we suspect you’re under the influence of anything that will impair you before your trip, you will not be able to participate and you will not get a refund.
